Writer’s workshop with Jason Donald

A couple of the many things I learnt: The difference between good writing and excellent writing can be in small details. Knowing what to leave out makes a huge difference. There are a surprising number of perspectives to tell a story from and it’s quite a challenge to keep with one. I read one of Jason’s books, Dalila, which is a good insight into the life of an asylum seeker in Britain. Worth checking out.
