Apple Sunday at Pitmedden Gardens

It was great to see so many children at my book readings yesterday.

There were some good moves to the action song – even some of the parents went into action.

We made up a couple of interesting stories – one involved a golden gorilla in a blue jungle and I seem to recall a pink lion jumped into a rainbow pool, in a wood or perhaps I dreamed that?

Thanks to my friends who helped set up and took turns to look after my book stall – they did well.

Thanks to Patricia for looking after the Thunder House and Monique and all the Pitmedden Gardens staff who managed the day so well.

Here’s a picture of just one part the gardens. They are stunning and well worth a visit for it and the tea shop.
