Archie Foundation Donations

It is a convention to price things with 99p on the end eg, £6.99 for books. We all know that this is a psychological device to sound like it’s a smaller number as it doesn’t quite reach the next integer.

There are many things to think about when creating books and getting them ‘out there’  and this was one convention I decided to leave alone.

When I sell books directly I charge £7 and tell people the extra penny they pay goes to The Archie Foundation. Everyone has been happy with that and many people give more and so I have counted all of these donations and today I have sent £47.60 to Archie in Aberdeen Hospital.
