Jenny Mosley – inventor of Golden Time
I recently had the good fortune to meet Jenny Mosley who is an author, education consultant, lecturer and founder of Quality Circle Time – I’m sure we’ve all heard of Golden Time.
She kindly reviewed my first book and this is what she said:
“I have just read Simon Hill’s Deadlefizz Dinosaur’s Disastrous Decision. It’s a book created for younger children to get them excited about reading, rhythm and responsibility. A beautifully illustrated book – all the pictures have a lovely clear background so that this impulsive, energetic, fun little dinosaur stands out beautifully each time. In very simple, compelling rhyming couplets, Simon creates a fun, fast moving story of the young head strong Deadlefizz who ignores adult warnings – and ends up leaping into a dangerous river. It is exciting stuff – with a happy ending that shines with the importance of kindness and community. This is the first book in what promises to be a fabulous series about Deadlefizz’s life in his unique world that consists of such places as Jeopardy Jungle, Moon Walk and Paradise Pool. I think the series will sparkle up children’s imaginations, ignite great conversations and inspire children’s curiosity and loyalty because who wouldn’t want to be a friend of this excitable, adventurous, good natured little dinosaur.”
